Our History

Beginning in 1985, APL established as the only leading independent pharma-distributor for two multinational pharmaceutical manufacturers. Our first warehouse, "Gedung Biru", was located in Pulogadung, Jakarta. The term "Gedung Biru" represents our spirit and dedication to distributing health products in Indonesia.

Our focus on innovation has resulted in our business growing to become a US$1.1 billion business, with more than 50 clients from world-class global pharmaceutical companies, serving up to 60,000 customers across Indonesia.

In 1985, Dr. Willem B. Wanandi completed his studies in Zurich, Switzerland, and returned to Indonesia to realize his dream to provide healthcare access to Indonesians.
